Beach Lake Bakery is family-owned and operated. In the late 1990s, we started baking artisan breads in the garage of our home in Beach Lake, PA. Our first customers were a local fish market and our friends, at whose houses we would drop off a few loaves. With the help of our teenaged son, who assisted with production and deliveries, and our 11-year-old daughter, whose idea it was to run the bakery’s small retail store in the barn we later built, we discovered a high demand for our European-style breads and traditional American pies and cookies. Now in its twenty-third year, our little bakery on Milanville Road has become a mecca for those seeking freshly baked bread and pastries on Saturday mornings.
